TKNZ

In a nutshell, TKNZ is The Esports Hall of Fame. The one place where we want to have all the heart-breaking, mind-blowing, nerve-wrecking and otherwise UNMISSABLE moments from your favorite esports.

Made by your favorite players, teams and creators and minted as NFTs for you to collect, brag and enjoy them!

There are three tiers of collectibles on TKNZ: Rare, Epic and Legendary. They differ in three main ways:

  1. Visually. Rare TKNZ cards are blue, Epic cards are purple(-ish) and Legendary cards are gold.
  2. Rarity. As a rule of thumb Rare cards have edition size 10x larger than Epic cards and 1000x larger than Legendary cards, making Epic and Legendary a lot more scarce and valuable.
  3. Content. Our creators decide what tier each content will become when minted as NFT but they choose them according to their rarity and thus Epic and Legendary cards contain the most memorable moments from their careers.

Our cards are the "containers" in which we keep and display the content that the NFTs represent. The same way as a baseball card contains the picture of the player, a TKNZ card contains the epic moment from esports history.

NFTS

NFTs are Non-Fungible Tokens and they are a wonderful application of blockchain technology. An NFT is like a receipt of ownership for an underlying asset that (the receipt, not necessarily the asset) is recorded forever (or at least until Cthulhu claims the land) on the blockchain.

The underlying asset could be a media file (video, audio, image, etc.) or even a combination of multiple files.

Our NFTs and user wallets exist on the Flow blockchain which is specially designed and built for NFTs and digital assets. It is secure, fast, scalable and reliable.

But don't trust us, just look at the list of businesses building on Flow: Warner Music Group, Ubisoft, Samsung, NBA Top Shot, NFL, UFC, CryptoKitties, Dr.Seuss, Animoca Brands. You can read more about Flow on https://www.onflow.org.

NFTs are non-fungible. This means they exist in limited copies (sometimes just a single, unique copy) and as such become collectible items.

Similar to other types of collectible items (e.g., stamps, baseball cards, Pokémon cards) you can collect, showcase and trade them. Unlike traditional collectibles, however, NFTs are digital, making them durable and easily shareable by design. Their properties (such as edition size, underlying assets, current owner, past trades history, etc.) are certified by the blockchain.

In a nutshell, a blockchain is like a public ledger that exists in many constantly synchronized instances (preventing any attempt to fake or defraud records) where everyone in the world can see the information on it, like the fact that you own your NFTs.

The TKNZ NFTs provide additional value through many perks that you get from the creators who mint them on the platform. Those could be access to exclusive content and events, their discord server, shoutouts, and many other.

CONTENTS AND CREATORS

No, not at all. Platforms like Twitch and YouTube do not have copyrights claims over any uploaded or streamed content on their platforms.

The creators own all their content and the associated intellectual property rights.

We (TKNZ) have licensing agreements with them to offer their best content in the form of NFTs for you, their fans, to own and collect!

We share all platform revenues from packs sales and individual NFT trades  with the associated creators. It is a win/win/win situation:

  1. You get awesome collectibles that represent epic moments from esports history which also give you extra perks.
  2. Our partnering creators get to engage with you on another level while earning so they can continue creating the content you enjoy.
  3. We continue developing our platform to bring you more cool features and ways to connect with creators and the esports community.

Write to us at team@tknz.gg  and let's talk!

PAYMENTS AND PLATFORM

We use the proceeds from the transaction fees to continue developing the platform, cover NFT minting costs, and we also share our revenues with our partnering creators.

Packs and cards can be purchased with a debit/credit card or your TKNZ balance. Additional payment methods are available in select countries.

Each user could be limited to purchase a set number of packs from each drop. These limits could be changed for individual drops and would be communicated on the drop page if so.

No, and this is serious, you cannot. We allow only one account per person. If you are detected to control more than one account, all of your accounts will be banned and you may lose your NFTs.

We accept different payment methods depending on your country. For more details, please look at the Stripe documentation: https://stripe.com/en-gb/payments/payment-methods-guide. TKNZ only accepts payments from methods with immediate payment completion.

Yes, but it depends if payments can be processed by our payments partner Stripe. For more details, please check Stripe's specific page: https://support.stripe.com/questions/impact-of-sanctions-on-russia-and-belarus.

TKNZ Packs and Cards are being sold in US Dollars. Our payments partner Stripe, however, accepts many different payment methods, including such that are in other currencies, like Russian Ruble.

We will send you an email notification when the packs are available. Expect news in the coming two weeks.

Google Pay and Apple Pay are available in selected countries, and only in Chrome and Safari browsers respectively. If your TKNZ account email is associated with a Google Pay or Apple Pay account, the option will be available at checkout.

Packs will be available for preorder within a specific time frame.

Each preorder will have a specific starting time which will be announced by the TKNZ team.

Once the preorder has started, you will be able to purchase a pack by clicking on the PREORDER button found on the pack page. Please continue to follow the instructions on TKNZ.gg to successfully complete your purchase.

The number of packs available for preorder is limited, so please be mindful they can be exhausted at any given time after the preorder has been opened. If a pack is no longer available (or temporarily unavailable) a prompt will come up and your purchase process will be stopped. You will not be charged unless you have successfully purchased a pack in the preorder cycle.

The TKNZ team will do their best to swiftly communicate any preorder news and states via the official TKNZ channels.

The TKNZ refund policy is available in our Terms of Use. All purchases on TKNZ are final and we do not provide refunds. Please bear that in mind before you make any purchase.
